Frequently asked questions

A little clarity. More room to learn.

Answers to common questions about family accounts, lessons and your learning space.

Do learners need their own email?

No. Learner PIN sign-in uses the family email, the learner’s name and their existing four-digit PIN.

Does age set lesson difficulty?

No. Age guides the default presentation, while academic starting points should follow evidence of understanding. A learner working on foundational skills can still use a mature interface.

Can I change how a learner’s space looks?

Yes. Open the learner’s Presentation & learning preferences from the family dashboard. Choose any of the three styles, larger text, reduced motion and calmer accents.

Can we pause a lesson?

Yes. Submit or save the current stage, then return from My lessons. Wait for the saved stage to open before leaving; unsubmitted answers have not been saved.

Where is completed work?

Open My lessons → Completed work. A completed lesson stays completed until an adult deliberately resets it for a new attempt.

Where is the earlier lesson library?

Administrators can browse the Existing lesson library. Original lessons remain available there for review; selected topics can be rebuilt and checked for the current lesson format.

Can I choose a package here?

The Pricing page shows published Individual and Family options. Contact the team to confirm service availability and arrange the right package. No payment is taken on this page.

How do I report a problem or concern?

Use Contact for account help, feedback or an accessibility issue. Read Reporting & complaints for service or conduct concerns, and Safeguarding for safety concerns. Do not wait for a website response if someone is in immediate danger.

How are subjects chosen?

Active learners have English, Maths and Science as their core set. Parents choose additional subjects within their package allowance. Limited additional choices can change every 30 days; removing access is allowed at any time.

Can I prepare evidence for a review?

Yes. Open the learner’s Parent workspace → Evidence packs, choose dates and review the report before sharing it. Print or save the report as PDF using your browser, or download HTML and CSV. Private SEND notes are excluded unless you explicitly include them. The report is a record of saved work, not an official assessment.
